Beaver Brook is one of those trails that starts going straight up and really doesn’t stop. My dad and I were unable to experience those views, as we were literally inside the clouds. If you take the Tuckerman’s Ravine trail to the top, you’ll start on an uphill forest path, pass by a hut and a lake, navigate switchbacks up the steep ravine and scramble over barren rocks above the treeline. Practice social distancing with a minimum of six feet, and give plenty of room when passing other hikers. It’s a high-reward, low-difficulty hike, and at the summit, you can see the higher peaks of the Presidentials teasing you from the north. .
