How do you correct an IRS Form 2290 that has been rejected?

It’s easy to correct your Form 2290 with ExpressTruckTax

Form 2290 rejection can happen to anyone.

The IRS typically rejects returns for one of three reasons:

  1. The Business Name entered does not match with the EIN listed in the IRS database.
  2. The Bank Routing Number entered in the Electronic Funds Withdrawal (EFW) payment option to pay your HVUT is invalid.
  3. The return is a duplicate of a previously accepted return. Typically, this is because either the EIN or VIN is incorrect.
